Although the representatives state that it wasn't taken from the show, either way, it sure has enlightened us to a new and exciting team. The Isotopes are Albuquerque's newest baseball team. Replacing the Dukes after their 2000 season, they quickly received a warm welcome. In 2003, the doors of a new $25 million stadium opened, where from their first game on April 11, 2003, attracted over a half a million fans in a single season. With isotopes off to a good start, we say farewell to the Dukes, because from the looks of things, it appears the Isotopes are here to stay. PLAY BALL! |
